Gelshield Plus Solventless Epoxy for Osmosis Treatment Gelshield Plus is International's high build two-component solventless epoxy, formulated to offer effective treatment of Gelshield Plus is designed to allow short or long overcoating intervals. The new high- build formula enables at least 150 microns to be achieved per coat. Gelshield Plus is recommended for Gelshield centres and repair centres across Europe. SURFACE PREPARATIONS AND SYSTEMS Osmosis Treatment: Gelcoat should be removed by blasting, or peeling plus a light blasting. The resultant substrate should be carefully examined and professionally evaluated as chemically dry. Surface must be clean and dry prior to application of Epiglass HT9000 or Gelshield Plus. Method: Apply initial coat with a thin film roller and work the surface using a brush. (Alternatively Epiglass can be used as the first coat in the scheme).
