SURFACE PREPARATIONS AND SYSTEMS Osmosis Treatment: Gelcoat should be removed by blasting, or peeling plus a light blasting. The resultant substrate should be carefully examined and professionally evaluated as chemically dry. Surface must be clean and dry prior to application of Epiglass HT9000 or Gelshield Plus. Method: Apply initial coat with a thin film roller and work the surface using a brush. (Alternatively Epiglass can be used as the first coat in the scheme).
