Product Description: A high-performance, solvent-free, tar-free, two-pack epoxy phenolic coating designed for cargo tanks carrying fuel, crude oil, white oil, and potable water. Suitable for new building or maintenance and repair.
Intended Uses: Available in THA645-Grey and THA646-Buff colors, with a volume solids content of 95% ±2%. Typical film thickness is 7 mils dry, with a theoretical coverage of 218 ft²/US gal at 7 mils dft.
Application Methods: Can be applied using plural feed airless spray, airless spray, brush, or roller. The mix ratio is 4 parts A to 1 part B, with no induction period required.
Drying and Overcoating: Touch dry times vary with temperature, from 18 hours at 50°F to 3 hours at 95°F. Hard dry times range from 40 hours at 50°F to 6 hours at 95°F. Overcoating intervals are provided for different temperatures.
Regulatory Data: VOC values are 98 g/lt as supplied, with compliance to EU Solvent Emissions Directive.
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contamination. High-pressure fresh water wash is recommended, with abrasive blast cleaning to Sa2½ standard for new building or major refurbishment.
Mixing Instructions: Mix complete units in supplied proportions. Maintain component temperatures at 77°F for optimal pot life.
Application Equipment: Specific recommendations for single and plural feed systems, including tip sizes and pressure settings. Conventional spray is not recommended.

SURFACE PREPARATIONS Use in accordance with the standard Worldwide Marine Specifications. All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contamination. High pressure fresh water wash or fresh water wash, as appropriate, and remove all oil or grease, soluble contaminants and other foreign matter in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning. Interline 644 Epoxy Phenolic APPLICATION Mixing For information on mixing see page 2. Airless Spray Ensure spray gun is rated beyond the maximum fluid outlet pressure of the pump to be used. Single Feed - Tip range 0.015" - 0.021" (381-530 microns). Smaller tip gives better film thickness control - Total output fluid pressure at spray tip not less than 5000 p.s.i. (352 kg/cm²) - Pump Ratio 70:1 It is recommended that an in-line heater is installed as close to the pump fluid outlet as possible. Interline 644 Epoxy Phenolic LIMITATIONS UNIT SIZE At ambient temperatures below 77°F paint lines must be lagged. This product will not cure adequately below 50°F. The drying times and overcoating intervals may alter due to various on-site factors such as tank configuration and ventilation rates.
