Intended Uses: The product is identified as QHA126-Grey with a volume solids content of 52% ±2%. It is applied at a typical film thickness of 100 microns dry (192 microns wet) and offers a theoretical coverage of 5.20 m²/litre at 100 microns dft. Application methods include airless spray, brush, conventional spray, and roller.
Product Information: The mix ratio is 2.83 parts of Part A to 1 part of Part B. Flash points are 32°C for Part A, 15°C for Part B, and 21°C when mixed. No induction period is required.
Drying Information: Touch dry times vary from 30 to 60 minutes depending on temperature, with hard dry times ranging from 2 to 4 hours. Pot life decreases with increasing temperature.
Regulatory Data: VOC values are 618 g/lt as supplied and 258 g/kg of liquid paint as per the EU Solvent Emissions Directive.
Certification: The product is FDA compliant for food contact with liquid and dry foodstuffs.
Surface Preparations: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contamination. Abrasive blast cleaning to Sa2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007) is required, with a recommended surface profile of 30-50 microns.
Application: Mixing involves adding Part B to Part A while stirring. Application by brush is for small areas only, and multiple coats may be needed. Airless spray is recommended with specific tip ranges and pressures.
Safety: Proper ventilation and protective measures are necessary during application. Emergency contact numbers are provided for different regions.
Limitations: Application should occur in good weather, with surface temperatures at least 3°C above the dew point. Storage conditions and shelf life are specified for both parts of the product.
Important Note: Users should consult International Paint for specific recommendations and ensure the data sheet is current before use. Liability for product performance is limited, and users should review the Conditions of Sale.
