Interfine 878 Polysiloxane Finish CERTIFICATION When used as part of an approved scheme, this material has the following certification: • Fire Resistance - Marine Equipment Directive compliant • Fire Resistance - Surface Spread of Flame (Exova Warringtonfire) • Fire Resistance - Smoke & Toxicity (Exova Warringtonfire) Consult your International Paint representative for details. Interfine 878 must be applied over a recommended primer system, which will vary depending upon the vessel area. Interfine 878 Polysiloxane Finish APPLICATION Mixing Material is supplied in two containers as a unit. Always mix a complete unit in the portions supplied. Once the unit has been mixed it must be used within the working pot life specified. (1) Agitate Base (Part A) with power agitator. (2) Combine entire contents of Curing Agent (Part B) with Base (Part A) and mix thoroughly with power agitator. After mixing Part A and Part B a slight exotherm may be noted, which is typical of this product, and is a result of chemical reaction. International GTA007. Thinning is not normally required....

Interfine 878 Polysiloxane Finish LIMITATIONS UNIT SIZE Overcoating information is given for guidance only and is subject to regional variation depending upon local climate and environmental conditions. Consult your local International Paint representative for specific recommendations. The optimum curing conditions for Interfine 878 are between 40% and 85%, curing times may vary outside these parameters. Apply in good weather. Temperature of the surface to be coated must be at least 5°F above the dew point. For optimum application properties bring the material to 70°F-81°F, unless...
