Intercept 8000 LPP TBT Free, Low Friction, Linear Polishing Polymer PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A high performance, low friction, linear polishing polymer (LPP) antifouling incorporating unique patented Lubyon ® technology. INTENDED USES Specifically designed for Deep Sea Vessels. For use at Newbuilding and Maintenance & Repair. PRODUCT INFORMATION LPP814-Brown, LPP817-Red Note: The above codes will be substituted by LPP824-Brown and LPP827-Red when supplied from Felling and Dammam manufacturing locations. Not applicable Volume Solids Typical Film Thickness Range: 75 - 200 microns dry (132 - 351 microns wet) may be specified depending upon end use. Theoretical Coverage Range: 7.6 - 2.9 m²/litre at 75 - 200 microns dft, allow appropriate loss factors Airless Spray, Brush, Roller Flash Point (Typical) Drying Information Before Flooding Single Coat Before Flooding Multiple Coats Note If the antifouling scheme includes any coat greater than 150 microns, and/or is greater than 300 microns in total at major refurbishment or repair, the time to flooding must be increased to 48 hours at temperatures of 10°C or less, 36 hours at 25°C and 24 hours at 35°C. For flooding of Intercept 7000 / 8000 LPP duplex schemes follow multiple coat Intercept 8000 LPP flooding times. Not Recommended. Use International GTA007 only in exceptional circumstances (max 5% by volume). DO NOT thin more than allowed by local environmental legislation.
