Product catalog summary
Installation Instructions

Sensor Wiring: The sensor requires a three-core cable connected via a terminal block inside the sensor enclosure. Access this by removing the cover screws. A wiring color identification label is provided.

Roof Top Wind/Temperature Sensor: Mount the unit on a mast 25-50mm in diameter, positioned high and away from obstructions like chimneys and trees to avoid wind turbulence. Ideally, place it at least 2 meters above roof peaks. Secure the cable properly, avoiding proximity to power or transmitter cables. If necessary, shorten the cable when connecting to the display unit.

Troubleshooting Guide

General Issues: Ensure the power supply is connected and turned on (24V DC). Verify correct wiring of the power cable to the sensor enclosure.

Wind Speed Issues: Confirm that the anemometer cups turn freely and check the wiring, especially the blue wire from the Wind Sensor. Inspect the cable for damage.

Wind Sensor Voltages:
  • Supply Voltage: Black – Red = 24V DC
  • Wind Speed: Black – Blue = 0-10V DC
  • 90mph equates to 8.5V DC

If issues persist, contact the service department at 01692 502800 or return the sensor for checking or replacement.
