Product catalog summary
Overview of Nauta Flexible Tanks
Nauta Flexible Tanks offer significant advantages over rigid tanks, making them popular among yacht builders and boat owners. These tanks are constructed from durable 840-denier nylon fabric coated with neoprene/nitrile, ensuring long-lasting, leakproof performance. Their flexibility allows them to fit into irregular spaces, and they are easy to install with customizable fittings.

Specifications and Features
The tanks are available in various capacities and dimensions, suitable for water, fuel, and waste storage. They feature heavily lapped seams reinforced with a doubler for extra strength and are vulcanized for leakproof seams. The tanks collapse as liquid is drawn out, eliminating the need for venting and reducing sloshing noise.

Water Tanks
Nauta water tanks use a Tedlar™ lining to maintain a taste-free system, unlike other materials that can impart unpleasant flavors. They require no venting, only a fill pipe and draw line, and come with a 5-year warranty. These tanks can also serve as ballast tanks and emergency water sources.

Holding Tanks
With stricter regulations on overboard discharge, Nauta holding tanks offer a cost-effective Type III solution. The Tedlar™ lining prevents gas permeation, reducing odor issues. These tanks are compact, require no electrical power, and come with a 1-year warranty.

Diesel Fuel Tanks
Nauta diesel tanks extend the range of diesel-powered vessels and can be mounted on decks or cockpits. They are easy to store when empty and come with adjustable hold-down straps and brass fittings for standard connections. A 1-year warranty is included.

Outboard Fuel Tanks
These tanks are an improvement over traditional metal tanks, offering rust-free, easy-to-carry, and stowable solutions. Available in various capacities, they provide a long-term solution despite being slightly more expensive than metal tanks.

Installation and Maintenance
Installation is straightforward, with tanks positioned in a shaped bed free of protrusions. Fittings are easily installed using a Nauta wrench. Flexible tanks are easier to maintain than rigid tanks, as they can be removed for cleaning and inspection without structural work. They are resistant to corrosion and saltwater.

Ordering Information
When ordering, specify the intended use of the tank (water, holding, or diesel fuel) to ensure the correct configuration and fittings.

Heavy-duty materials for years of faithful service. Nauta’s heavily lapped, doubled and vulcanized seams simply cannot leak. Our most popular application is also the easiest way to increase or replace water capacity on boats whose tankage is inadequate or deteriorated. Nauta flexible water tanks use an exclusive Tedlar™ inside lining to maintain a taste-free system: most PVC, fiberglass, other plastics and metals contribute a distinct, unpleasant flavor to fresh water; Tedlar does not. No venting is required for water tanks, only a fill pipe and a simple draw line to head and/or galley pumps....

Nauta Flexible Tanks-4

Nauta flexible outboard tanks are a remarkable improvement over the traditional painted metal tanks. Perhaps the most noticeable change: they don’t leave rust rings on the floorboards or cockpit sole. These roll-up-when-empty tanks offer convenience in use and in stowage. They are also more comfortable to carry than most rigid tanks. They cannot rust, won’t scrape your paint, are easier to tie down and don’t rattle when you’re underway. Available in 6, 9, 13 and 18 gallon capacities, they show by their size how much fuel remains inside. While slightly more expensive than metal, Nauta flexible...
