Construction Specifications
All materials and equipment must conform to Underwriter’s Laboratories standards and be suitable for marina use. The Power Outlet Box should be UL listed, made from corrosion-resistant materials, and designed for easy installation without disassembly. External fasteners should thread into brass inserts, and receptacles and circuit breakers should be easily replaceable via snap-in panels.
Receptacles & Breakers
Receptacles must be corrosion-resistant, grounding type, and conform to NFPA standards. They should be protected by thermal magnetic circuit breakers and covered by hinged, lockable doors to prevent water ingress.
Cable Television / Telephone
The Power Outlet Box should support cable television and telephone services with weather-protected, lockable receptacles. Low voltage wiring must be separated from power wiring by a non-metallic barrier.
Lighting
The Power Outlet Box should feature downward-directed incandescent lighting with a maximum wattage of 15W. Lighting can be controlled externally or via a photocell, and components should be easily accessible for maintenance.
Wiring
The Power Outlet Box should be factory pre-wired with stranded copper wire, ensuring isolation between high and low voltage systems. Access to line feed areas should be unobstructed for ease of installation.
Mounting Options
Options include a galvanized steel bracket for wall or post mounting, and a powder-coated aluminum stand with customizable heights. Water faucets are available in single or dual configurations, made from nickel-plated brass with stainless steel handles.

EnergyMate Specification-1

I. All materials and equipment used in the installation will conform to Underwriter's Laboratories standards and must be designed for intended Marina use. Materials and equipment should be standard products of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the manufacture of such 2. The Power Outlet Box shall be UL listed as a complete assembly. 3. Electrical wiring will consist of insulated stranded copper type THHN/MTW conductors rated for service at 90 C or THHW/MTW VW-1 Boat Cable rated for 105 C. Non-wire conductors will be tin plated copper and/or aluminum Lugs. 4. The Power Outlet Box shall be high-pressure injection molded polycarbonate or polyvinyl chloride polymer and all body parts shall be corrosion, impact and UV resistant capable of withstanding high humidity and caustic 5. Color shall be permanent molded in white to resist showing scratches and chips and all external surfaces shall also be painted to further resist the effects of aging. 6. The Power Outlet Box shall attach to post or railing with an internal fastening system to eliminate unsightly through bolts and to minimize 7. The Power Outlet Box shall be constructed so that it may be installed (both physical mounting and utility connections) without mechanical disassembly of internal parts. 8. The Power Outlet Box shall have a hinged cover that will support itself in the open position, i.e. 9.
