  • 35 to 40 feet: 18% require 30A 125V, 65% require 30A/30A 125V, 17% require 50A 125/240V.
  • 40 to 45 feet: 2% require 30A 125V, 35% require 30A/30A 125V, 57% require 50A 125/240V, 6% require 50A/50A 125/240V.
  • 45 to 50 feet: 12% require 30A 125V, 33% require 30A/30A 125V, 55% require 50A 125/240V.
  • 50 to 55 feet: 4% require 30A 125V, 56% require 30A/30A 125V, 40% require 50A 125/240V.
  • 55 to 60 feet: 40% require 30A/30A 125V, 60% require 50A 125/240V.
  • 60 to 65 feet: 10% require 30A/30A 125V, 90% require 50A 125/240V.
  • 65 to 70 feet: 8% require 30A/30A 125V, 92% require 50A 125/240V.

Large Cruisers (70' to 100')
Shore power requirements for large cruisers are as follows:
  • 70 to 80 feet: 78% require 50A/50A 125/240V, 11% require 100Amp single phase, 11% require 100Amp three phase.
  • 80 to 90 feet: 33% require 50A/50A 125/240V, 33% require 100Amp single phase, 34% require 100Amp three phase.
  • 90 to 100 feet: 25% require 50A/50A 125/240V, 75% require 100Amp three phase.

Houseboats
Shore power requirements for houseboats are:
  • 40 to 50 feet: 12% require 30A 125V, 12% require 30/30 125V, 76% require 50A 125/250V.
  • 50 to 60 feet: 5% require 30A 125V, 95% require 50A 125/250V.
  • 60 to 70 feet: 9% require 30A 125V, 91% require 50A 125/250V.
  • 70 to 80 feet and above: 100% require 50A 125/250V.

Sailboats
Shore power requirements for sailboats are:
  • 25 to 30 feet: 100% require 30A 125V.
  • 30 to 35 feet: 100% require 30A 125V.
  • 35 to 40 feet: 94% require 30A 125V, 6% require 30/30 125V.
  • 40 to 45 feet: 78% require 30A 125V, 15% require 30/30 125V, 7% require 50A 125/250V.
  • 45 to 50 feet: 54% require 30A 125V, 15% require 30/30 125V, 31% require 50A 125/250V.
  • 50 to 55 feet: 40% require 30A 125V, 60% require 50A 125/250V.
