high speed workboats ™ Technical data HB 1211 SAR, a 12 metre Search And Rescue boat is a highly advanced boat, fitted with the most modern technical equipment for such vessels. We have built 15 SAR boats to the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue. With a low freeboard, picking up survivors and casualties from the sea is easier and the low draft makes operations in shallow water possible. Our SAR boats can maintain high speed in rough seas. The boats can be equipped for firefighting and emergency bilge pumping. Overall length: 12,35 metres Length hull: 11,25 metres Breadth extreme: 3,5 metres Breadth hull: 2,92 metres Draught: 0,7 metres Max speed with 3 persons: 33-35 knots STANDARD ENGINES Twin Volvo Penta, Yanmar or similar, 400-440 HP STANDARD PROPULSION Hamilton waterjets or similar The hull is constructed from marine aluminum, and has a solid fender made from foam and spray coated polyurethane material. The wheelhouse is a composite construction, and we use casting forms for the wheelhouse and composite details. The boats are fitted with high quality components. All work is done in-house, and we are ISO 9001:2015 certified.
