ELCI Interface Solutions

Product catalog summary
Overview: Hubbell Marine Electrical has developed a flexible method for integrating ELCI Sensors and Breakers into traditional shore power inlet housings. This innovation aligns with the ABYC E-11.11.1 requirements effective from July 31, 2010, mandating the installation of an Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ELCI) with the main shore power disconnect circuit breaker.
Product Specifications: The ELCI Interface Solutions are available in 30 Amp and 50 Amp configurations. The kits include Hubbell Shore Power Inlet, matching inlet housings, mounting adapter plates for various ELCI Sensors and Breakers, and stainless steel hardware. The ELCI provides 30mA ground fault protection for the AC shore power system.
Kit Descriptions:
  • HBL303NMELCI: 30 Amp, 125 Volt Non-Metallic Inlet with two housings, adapter plates, and hardware.
  • HBL303NMELCIS: 30 Amp, 125 Volt Non-Metallic Inlet with one housing for North Shore Safety’s Sensor only.
  • HBL303SSELCI: 30 Amp, 125 Volt Stainless Steel Inlet with two housings, adapter plates, and hardware.
  • HBL303SSELCIS: 30 Amp, 125 Volt Stainless Steel Inlet with one housing for North Shore Safety’s Sensor only.
  • HBL504SSELCI: 50 Amp, 125/250 Volt Stainless Steel Inlet with two housings, adapter plates, and hardware.
  • HBL504SSELCIH: 50 Amp, 125/250 Volt Stainless Steel Inlet with one housing for a standard overcurrent-type circuit breaker.
  • HBLRRELCI: Blank Stainless Steel Inlet Housing for mounting North Shore Safety ELCI Sensor only.
Important Notes: North Shore Safety’s Sensor and Sensata Technologies Circuit Breakers are not included in the kits and require separate blank shore power inlet interfaces.
