Now you can plug in your power drill, sander or any other 15 Amp tool or appliance into that 30 Amp outlet on the dock - and be GFCI protected while doing so. This portable GFCI adapter will protect people from the hazards of line-to-ground electrical current leakage that can occur in electrical appliances and tools, especially when used in a wet or damp location such as a marina, boat yard, construction site, etc. If a ground fault occurs and the leakage exceeds 4-6 milliamperes, the unit will quickly interrupt the power supply and limit the duration of the shock.
