Based on Hempels patented nanocapsule acrylate binder technology, self-polishing is controlled by sea waters interaction with core-shell structure of the nanocapsules. The powerful bioactive mixture and selfrenewing effect, makes it suitable for protection in severe fouling conditions of coastal waters and long idle periods. Inorganic fibre reinforcement ensures high mechanical strength. This product does not contain organotin compounds acting as biocides and complies with the International Convention on the Control of Harmful Antifouling Systems on Ships as adopted by Imo October 2001(Imo document AFS/CONF/26).
