Description: Recommended use: HEMPEL'S FAVOURITE VARNISH 01250 is a clear urethane alkyd varnish. It is a high-gloss, easy-to-use varnish which is both flexible and durable. Good resistance to seawater, sunlight and adverse weather conditions. For use on new wood as well as on previously varnished wood, interior and exterior, above the waterline. Product Data HEMPEL'S FAVOURITE VARNISH 01250 SURFACE PREPARATION: Preparation: Always ensure all surfaces are clean, oil free and dry. Clean the surface and remove possible oil and grease with a suitable detergent and sand with dry abrasive paper. Carefully remove dust with fresh water. New wood: Sand and remove all dust. Saturate the dry, clean surface with suitable wood treatment, allow to dry. Plywood: Sand and remove all dust. Seal the dry clean surface with suitable wood sealer.
