The product is based on silicone, is biocide free and cures after addition of HEMPASIL CROSSLINKER 98950. It provides a smooth, low surface energy repellent surface with unique fouling release properties. A hydro gel micro layer prevents fouling organisms firmly adhering while the silicone polymers facilitate self-cleaning. HEMPASIL X3 therefore possess a high fuel saving potential. HEMPASIL X3 87500 APPLICATION CONDITIONS: PRECEDING COAT Use only where application and curing can proceed at temperatures above: 0°C/32°F. The temperature of the surface and that of the paint itself must also be above this limit. Apply only on a dry and clean surface with a temperature above the dew point to avoid condensation. In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Curing requires a relative humidity of: minimum 30%, maximum 85%.
