Physical Constants: The paint has a semi-gloss finish with a volume solids percentage of 79 ± 1. The theoretical spreading rate is 4 m²/l at 200 microns. It has a VOC content of 233 g/l and a specific gravity of 1.6 kg/litre.
Application Details: The mixing ratio is 3:1 by volume, and it is applied using an airless spray. The pot life is 1 hour at 20°C/68°F, with a nozzle orifice of 0.021 - 0.023 inches and a nozzle pressure of 250 bar. The indicated film thickness is 200 microns dry and 250 microns wet.
Surface Preparation: For new steel, remove oil, grease, and contaminants, and perform abrasive blasting to a minimum Sa 2½. For repair and maintenance, remove rust and loose material, and feather edges to sound areas.
Application Conditions: Apply and cure at temperatures between -10°C/14°F and 20°C/68°F. Ensure the paint temperature is above 15°C/59°F and apply on a dry, clean surface above the dew point.
Remarks: The product may yellow after application, but this does not affect performance. It is sensitive to chalking and mechanical damage at elevated temperatures. Overcoating intervals must be adhered to, and surfaces should be cleaned thoroughly before overcoating.
