Surface Preparation
Ensure cleanliness by removing salts, detergents, contaminants, and marine growth. For new builds, prime with Hempel's Light Primer and apply a tiecoat of Hempel's Underwater Primer.

Application
Thinner: Hempel's Thinner 08080
Application Method: Brush/Roller or Paint pad with a maximum of 5% thinning.
Film Thickness: Recommended dry film thickness is 40 micron [1.6 mils].
Application Conditions: Apply on a clean, dry surface with temperature at least 3°C [5°F] above the dew point and relative humidity below 85%.

Drying and Overcoating
Drying Time: Varies with temperature; touch dry in 9-30 minutes depending on conditions.
Overcoating: No maximum interval, but clean surface before applying the next coat.

Storage
Shelf Life: 60 months at 25°C [77°F] in original, unopened containers.
Storage Conditions: Store at minimum 5°C [41°F], away from direct sunlight, rain, and snow.
