Introduction of Engine Business Group Doosan infracore Engine Business Group started building Korea’s first diesel engines in 1958 and has expanded its business ever since. Today, the Engine Business Group supplies global customers with diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) engines for automotive, industrial equipment, power generation and marine applications. The R&D has been devoted to developing eco-friendly engines to meet stringent emission standards, and have developed Euro 5 compli ant diesel engines for commercial vehicles as well as World leading CNG engines for power generation. The Business Group completed development of sophisticated compact diesel engines that satisfy tough U.S. Tier 4 Final and EU Stage IIIB & iV standards, these new models started production in 2012.
