The Hardy 40DS is designed for comfortable cruising at speeds of 10 to 12 knots, with the capability to reach 18 knots if necessary. It features a single engine for fuel efficiency, with options for different engines and twin screw incorporation. The exterior styling is appealing to both motorboat and sailing yachtsmen, with an optional flybridge.

Interior Features
The interior, styled by award-winning stylist Chris Lock of CSL Yacht Design, includes a two-cabin arrangement with one twin and one double cabin, and a large heads with a separate shower stall. The saloon features a single-level seating and dining area, a galley, and an open-plan area for entertaining. Foldaway glass doors expand the saloon into the cockpit seating area. Interiors can be customized to the owner's preferences.
