The Commander 32 was designed in 1999 in response to requests from potential owners who wanted an aft cockpit design suitable for cruising the French canals, but also retaining the speed and sea-keeping ability to cruise across the English Channel or the North Sea in comfort and safety. The Commander 32 fulfils all these requirements and more.

The fore-deck and side decks are enclosed by large stainless steel guardrails and are wide enough to safely walk round even at sea if necessary - ideal for both adults or children. The accommodation includes a comfortable forward cabin with a vee-berth that easily extends to a big double bed, with a shower and toilet compartment right along side it.The cabin has lots of storage both in the lockers and below the berths.
