hansenprotection.com / hansenprotection.no MS Ascomedic Emergency Bag FZ (Full zip version) RS(+)EMERGENCY AND RESCUE BLANKET Developed in cooperation with the Rescue Operations team, at the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue (NSSR)/Redningsselskapet (RS), Matt Skuse MS Ascomedic is a combined blanket and zip up bag for emergency and first aid operafions. The MS Ascomedic is equipped with a coil zipper with four sliders. The full-length zipper offers the possibility to "slide" the injured person into the bag and close the material fightly around the face; - which reduces the risk of heat loss significantly. The detachable zip also offers the possibility to use the MS Ascomedic for a huge variafion of applicafions; - as a blanket, cover or tarp by gathering the corners or using the four sliders as attachment points for cord/string. The fabric is waterproof (the mid line seam is welded) and FR-tested in accordance with IMO/Solas' LSA requirements for TPA (Thermal Protecttve Aid), and gives protectton against rain, wind and cold. The MS Ascomedic material is metallized on the inside, and provides superior heat reflectton, helping to keep the injured warm, dry and comfortable. MS Ascomedic is strong and can support a person's weight and be used as a stretcher. When unfolded it measures 180 x 200cm (app. 6.0 x 6.5ft), and can accommodate an adult with a child. NB!
