Introduction
The Gunboat 48 is a yacht designed for ease of operation by the owner without the need for a crew. It offers ample privacy and space for 2-3 couples or a family, suitable for day-sailing, sabbatical cruising, or year-round world-cruising.

Construction
The yacht is constructed using a composite of vacuum-bagged epoxy foam sandwich with carbon fiber inner skins and Kevlar outer skins for impact resistance. It features all carbon spars and retractable rudders and daggerboards.
