SO184-1

DATA SHEET EPOXY RESIN SO184UV The SO184 RESIN is a reactive system which has been developed in order to add ease and convenience to mechanical qualities. The versatility of this system makes it suitable for lamination or high-quality glazing, while eliminating the problems of crystallisation due to extended storage. Because of its viscosity, SO184 RESIN (resin + hardener) can be used for impregnation of glass fibre, kevlar and carbon, which providing the laminate with good mechanical properties. These qualities can be further improved after curing by later oven baking. Its suitability for glazing is complemented by an excellent stability under ultra-violet. The reactivity of the system over 18°C (the minimum working temperature), results in fast curing with no scaling or whitening of the surface. Not to use at a temperature lower than 14°C (temperature of the air and support), in the case of a glazing not to put the support outside (moisture and cold before 72 hours). Any resin handling must be done using gloves. In the event of contact with the skin, to wash immediately with water and the soap. The use of solvents on the skin is to be proscribed. In the event of projection in the eyes, to rinse immediately and abundantly with water clear and to consult a doctor. Take care of the technical qualification and the information of the people called to handle or to be in contact with the products.
