DATA SHEET SINGLE COMPONENT FIXING PRIMER Single component primer for fixing antifoulings on polyester. Dries quickly. CHARACTERISTICS A synthetic polymer based primer used for fixing antifoulings on new polyester hulls. It dries quickly and does not need the surface to have been sanded in order to ensure adhesion. It is used undiluted. PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE To carry out a very good cleaning of the support using Degreaser-remover DCR900. To soak the rag well with DCR900 and to rub the support vigorously in order to eliminate all traces from grease or impurity. To think of changing rag regularly. To let dry.. PREPARATION OF THE PAINT Mix the product well before application. APPLICATION Be sure to apply a protective strip to delimit the surface to be painted. To apply a fine layer of PR10 of 20 microns (dry film). To let dry 2 hours with 20°C before applying antifouling. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE Use protective gloves, masks and clothes. Work in a ventilated area; an accumulation of solvents can catch fire if exposed to a naked flame or a spark.
