VL-1504 INSTRUCTIONS The replacement of VL-1504 Vaccuum Breaker Assembly is accomplished as follows: * Remove the old assembly. * Assure that the machined seat area between the new assembly and the bronze cap casting is clean and free of salt or sand build-up or other debris. Clean or lightly sand this surface if necessary. * The new vacuum breaker assembly may not fit as snugly as the old one. This is due to a dimensional change by our supplier of the rubber parts (over which we had no choice or control). A drop of marine caulk on the machined bronze seat will keep the vacuum breaker assembly in place during re-assembly. (The concave side of the check gasket faces the liquid.) VL-1504 * Screw the cap hand-tight into the vented loop body. membrane VL-1504 INSTRUCTIONS The replacement of VL-1504 Vaccuum Breaker Assembly is accomplished as follows: * Remove the old assembly. * Assure that the machined seat area between the new assembly and the bronze cap casting is clean and free of salt or sand build-up or other debris.
