Product catalog summary
Description
PropOne™ is a two-coat system designed for marine applications, consisting of an anti-corrosive Primer Coat and a Foul Release Coating (Clear Coat). The Clear Coat is non-biocidal and prevents organisms from adhering to surfaces, facilitating easy removal when the boat is in motion. It does not chemically prevent marine growth.

Coverage
The document provides a table to determine the appropriate PropOne™ kit size based on propeller size and number of blades, ranging from 250ml to 1 Litre kits.

Technical Data
Primer Coat: Opaque yellow with a sweet alcoholic odor, specific gravity of 0.88, and VOC of 708 g/L.
Primer Activator: Water white with a sweet alcoholic odor, specific gravity of 0.91, and VOC of 712 g/L.
Clear Coat: Hazy with a strong aromatic odor, specific gravity of 0.99, and VOC of 242 g/L.

Miscellaneous Product Information
Mixing ratio is 4 parts Primer Coat to 1 part Primer Activator. The product should be stored between 5°C and 27°C. Not suitable for aquaculture applications and should not be applied to anodes.

Method Statement
Surface Preparation: Essential for product success, involving removal of foreign matter and contaminants using brushes, emery cloth, or scraping tools.
Cleaning: Use Prop Wash and acetone to clean surfaces.
Inspection: Ensure surfaces are contaminant-free before application.

Application of PropOne™ System
Mixing Instructions: Mix Primer Coat and Activator at temperatures between 10°C - 30°C. Add isopropanol if rapid solvent evaporation is likely.
Primer Application: Apply sparingly with a brush or roller, ensuring even coverage.
Clear Coat Application: Apply with a new soft brush, ensuring complete coverage of the Primer Coat.

Clean Up Procedure
Use acetone for cleaning Primer tools and Xylene for Clear Coat tools.

Technical Data Sheet – PropOne™ System-1

Technical Data Sheet – PropOne™ System Description PropOne™ is a two-coat system comprising an anti-corrosive Primer Coat and a Foul Release Coating (Clear Coat). The Clear Coat is a non-biocidal, low surface energy coating which prevents organisms strongly adhering to the surface of the propeller and fast moving components permanently immersed in water. Organisms can be easily dislodged once the boat is placed in drive. As with all foul release coatings, when not in use, the surface will be colonized by encrusting organisms. The removal of the fouling organisms is purely a mechanical effect. The Clear Coat does not prevent marine growth by chemically poisoning the environment. Failure to prepare the surface or apply the primer correctly will lead to product failure and a reduction in the service life of the product. It is intended that solvent cleaning be used prior to the application of primer and in conjunction with surface preparation methods specified for the removal of marine growth, old coatings, rust and corrosion. 1. the above remove surface contaminants. Acceptable methods include: Brushing. Wiping with a clean cloth. Blow off with clean, dry air. Vacuum cleaning. Cleaning Use a clean cloth to scrub metal surfaces with a generous amount of Prop Wash. Do not allow product to dry, applying Prop Wash to one area at a time. Immediately rinse area with clean fresh water, then wipe with a clean damp white cloth to remove Prop Wash. Repeat the process until cloth shows no discolouration. Now using a clean cloth soaked in acetone wipe all surfaces. 3. Inspect all cleaned surfaces for any contaminates. Any areas...
