Double stage tank regulator The double stage tank regulator is an uncomplicated and inexpensive solution for installing a regulator system. By combining a medium and low pressure regulator directly on the gas withdrawal valve in the tank, the tank pressure is kept constant on the operating pressure on the gas consumer device. The 2-stage regulator plant comprises two pressure regulators that are installed in the pipeline separate from each other. The tank pressure is kept constant at an average pressure of 0.7–4.0 bar by using a 1st stage regulator. That means pressure losses in long pipelines do not make a big difference.
