CHOOSING YOUR GMT POLE. First take the “J” measurement on your boat. To do this you should measure on deck from the front of the mast to the head stay fitting. This is your “J” measurement. In most cases this will be your approximate pole length. Now from the matrix below choose the appropriate pole. Pole model # Tube weight/foot(lbs.)
