The GS 249 Sport Cruiser is a 24-foot boat designed for maximum space utilization and passenger comfort. It features a length overall (LOA) of 24' (7.31 m), a beam of 102" (2.59 m), and a transom deadrise of 20°. The draft with the drive unit up is 17" (43 cm) and 35" (89 cm) when down. It has a fuel capacity of 56 gallons (212 L) and a maximum capacity of 2,000 lbs. (907 kg). The approximate weight is 4,437 lbs. (2,013 kg) with a 5.0L GL Volvo Penta engine.

Unique Features:
The cruiser offers ample seating, a fold-out sun lounge, and a bimini top. Below deck, it includes a spacious galley, V-berth, dinette, full-size aft cabin, and a fiberglass-lined head compartment. The boat is designed for excellent performance and visibility, with easy access through a transom walk-thru and a walk-around deck.

Standard Features:
The main cabin includes an enclosed head with a 4-gallon Porta Potty, fiberglass shower stall, hanging clothes locker, wood cabin table, stainless steel cabin courtesy lights, ice box, alcohol stove, on-demand water faucet, and stainless steel ceiling lights. Instrumentation:
The instrument panel includes a speedometer, tachometer, trim, fuel, oil pressure, voltmeter, and engine temperature gauges, along with switches for the bilge pump, blower, navigation/anchor lights, panel lights, interior lights, and horn.

Optional features include a color-coordinated cockpit cover, dockside air conditioner/reverse heat, electric anchor windlass, electric china head, high altitude prop, hydraulic trim tabs, manual china head with pump out, remote control spotlight, starboard windshield wiper, stereo remote for dash, transom shower, and various canvas packages.

Engine Choices:
Power options are available from MerCruiser (260 & 300 HP) and Volvo Penta (270 & 300 HP). All engines on boats sold in the USA and some in Canada must be catalyst engines.
