Introduction
GISA TEX® GmbH & Co of Reutlingen has introduced new marine mattresses, gisa med® Basic & Standard, to their marine upholstery range. These mattresses feature a core made of elastic and air-permeable spacing weave, known under the trade names DRYWEAVE® and THERMOFLEX.

Specifications
The mattresses are custom-made in Germany and consist of three layers: a 4 cm three-dimensional spacing material, a 4 cm high-quality cold foam layer for comfort, and a 0.8 cm temperature-regulating DRYWEAVE® layer. The total thickness is approximately 10 cm. They are enclosed in a double cloth cover made of anti-allergenic gisa med® material.

Features and Benefits
The gisa med® Basic & Standard mattresses offer permanent air permeability, combining the comfort of cold foam with the temperature-regulating quality of spacing weave. The cover is protected from moulds and mildew without fungicide or microbicide treatment, ensuring long-term protection even after dry-cleaning and washing. The design prevents condensation and damp build-up, enhancing sleeping comfort and mattress durability. The air permeability eliminates the need for a slatted bed frame, saving space in tight on-board conditions.

Delivery and Customization
The mattresses can be cut to any size or shape to fit specific patterns, with a delivery time of 15-20 working days from order receipt.

Thickness Options
Standard thickness is approximately 100 mm, while the premium option is approximately 150 mm.
