Fixseal is also used to seal timber/plywood/MDF to prevent and eliminate moisture uptake and ingress, reduce timber warping and prevent dry rot. Permanent lasting and suitable to paint over. Characteristics: • Easy to mix & apply 1:1 mix ratio • Penetrate and seal porous substrates • Prevents water and moisture uptake • Cures to a hard film in 72 hours. • Repairs and strengthens poor or soft timber After mixing, cover the mixture, wait 15-20 minutes, remove cover and then apply onto the substrate as required. Benefits: • Prevents timber warping due to moisture • Prevents dry rot in timber • Prevents mould in wet areas • Can be used as a primer prior to painting (compatibilty tests recommended) • Recommended for sealing teak deck caulking seams prior to caulking appliction • Suitable for concrete, stone and porous substrates. Note: The contents contained in this documentation are the result of our experiments and our experienceand have been submitted in good faith. Because of the diversity of the materials and substrates and the real number of possible applications which are out of our control we cannot accept any responsibility for the results obtained. In every case it is recommended to carry out preliminary experiments and compatibility tests. Fixtech Pty Ltd. PO Box 568, Southport, Qld 4215. Tel: +61 (0)7 5530 1099.
