Fassmer Lifeboats according to SOLAS-LSA-Code 4.5 For Passenger Ships and Ferries SEL-T Tender The design of this modern tender, which can accommodate up to 121 passengers below deck, matches that of today's cruise ships. The unsinkable double hull features fiberglass-reinfor- ced polyester resin (FRP) for exceptional stability, very little rocking and very little tilting with one-sided loading. As a result of its compact design, it takes up less space on board to leave maximum space for outside cabins on the vessel. Powerful twin engines (max. 2 x 242 kW (325 h.p.)) permit excellent maneuverability. Passengers enter the boat through two large transparent sliding doors on the sides. The interior consists of a single compartment with wide aisles and no steps, and it is also possible to integrate an entryway without steps for wheelchairs. Fassmer's proven hoisting-hook system of stain- less steel and high-strength bronze permits safe, reliable launching. This boat is approved as a partially enclosed life- boat in compliance with LSA Code 4.5.
