The former guide was “closed” by lashing a piece of rope between two holes. The spliced furling line remains easy to fit obviously as previously. A nicely designed evolution for the FX+ furlers that has been encountering a great success through those past years and have been proving their reliability. > Availability for Fx+1500/Fx+2500/Fx+4500 in February Gaff lock for squared mainsail Full batten mainsail 2-to-1 halyard locking / unlocking The gaff lock can be adapted on existing Facslide headboard car and simplifies the full batten squared mainsail head fitting and lowering along the boom. The attaching shackle gets out of the hook and releases the halyard enabling an easy folding of the mainsail. The gaff lock fitted-in sheave allows to fit the halyard in 2-to-1 configuration. The “hooking” shape of the gaff lock automatically locks the halyard when the squared mainsail is up. The full batten squared mainsail becomes efficiently hoisted and lowered. Two models available : 2T5 & 4T matching the Facslide F30 & F40.
