Specifications
The AGM Sealed VRLA Battery is designed for a long life of 10-12 years as per EUROBAT standards. It has a nominal voltage of 12V and a nominal capacity of 26AH. The dimensions are 166mm (L) x 126mm (W) x 174mm (H), with a weight of approximately 7.55kg. The maximum discharge current for 5 seconds is specified, and the internal resistance is approximately 15.4 mΩ. The standard terminal is M5, and the container material is ABS.
Constant-Voltage Charge
For cycle applications, the rated capacity varies with the discharge rate, with a 20-hour rate at 27.40AH and a 10-hour rate at 25.70AH. The initial current should be limited to less than 6.75A, and charging should continue until the battery voltage reaches 14.1V to 14.4V at 25ºC. The temperature compensation coefficient for charging voltage is -30mV/ºC. For standby service, the battery should be held across a constant voltage source of 13.6 to 13.8 volts with a current limit of 6.75A continuously.
Operating Conditions
The nominal operating temperature range is 25±3°C. The discharge temperature range is -15 to 50°C, the charge range is 0 to 40°C, and the storage range is -15 to 40°C. It is important to charge the battery within 6 months of storage to prevent permanent capacity loss due to sulfation.
