Constant-Voltage Charge
For cycle applications, the rated capacity varies with the discharge rate, from 57.8AH at a 20-hour rate to 34.7AH at a 1-hour rate. The initial current should be limited to less than 11.0A, and charging should continue until the battery voltage reaches 14.1V to 14.4V at 25ºC. The voltage should be maintained until the current drops below 0.33A for at least 3 hours. A temperature compensation coefficient of -30mV/ºC is recommended. For standby service, the battery should be held at a constant voltage of 13.6 to 13.8 volts with a current limit of 11.0A. The temperature compensation coefficient for standby service is -18mV/ºC.

Operating Conditions
The nominal operating temperature range is 25±3°C, with a wide operating temperature range from -20ºC to 55ºC. It is important to charge the battery within 6 months of storage to prevent permanent capacity loss due to sulfation.
