The nominal operating temperature range is 25±3°C (77±5°F), with a wide operating temperature range from -20ºC to 55ºC. It is important to charge the battery within 6 months of storage to prevent permanent capacity loss due to sulfation.

The battery's capacity is affected by temperature, with 103% capacity at 40°C (104°F), 100% at 25°C (77°F), and 86% at 0°C (32°F).
