Demisting, heating and Ventilation unit Range VCD-BV The demisting, heating and ventilation units are designed for on-board applications. In winter, they ensure the heating of rooms (control cabins, wheelhouses or passenger accommodation) and allow the window demisting by a network of ducts and distributors. In summer, they can be used as a ventilation system for fresh air renewal in the rooms. In both cases, the fan flow is adjustable. These products are designed according to Bureau Veritas requirements. Presentation The demisting, heating and ventilation units are composed of: * Electric fan with adjustable speed * Heating batteries with shielded stainless resistors, pin type * A safety thermostat * Distributors to be placed at the bottom of the windows * Deported remote control box * System to avoid overheating Duct junction The output duct junction is by a diameter 130mm Air distributor There are different distributor sizes (please refer to the chart below), they are fitted with baffle at 15° and orientate the air towards the window.
