Product catalog summary
Overview: The ALM-ALT DC power supply range is designed to provide stabilized and filtered DC current for various applications, including aerospace, marine, rail, and industrial sectors. It is particularly used for generating 28Vdc on-board networks, engine start-up, maintenance, and powering test benches.
Applications: In aerospace, it supports on-board networks and engine start-up. In marine, it powers emergency networks and communication equipment. For rail, it supplies locomotives and carriages in maintenance workshops. In the industrial sector, it creates stable low voltage local networks.
Technology: The power supply uses thyristor technology for reliability and robustness. It features rectified, controlled, and filtered technology to ensure DC current is filtered and regulated. Cabinets and electronic boards can be customized to meet environmental constraints.
Technical Specifications:
  • Mechanical Characteristics: Dimensions vary by model, with ALM 3KW at 600x600x300 mm and ALT 40 KW at 2000x800x800 mm.
  • Input: ALM Range supports 400Vac, 230Vac, or 115Vac ± 10% single phase, while ALT Range supports 400Vca ± 10% three phase, both at 50-60Hz ± 5%.
  • Output: Nominal voltages include 24, 28, 48, 72, 110, 220, or 349Vdc with regulation of +/- 2% and ripple voltage <5%. Power range is up to 15 kW for ALM and up to 50 kW for ALT.
Features:
  • Display and control panel includes ON/OFF light indicator, voltmeter, ammeter, ON/OFF switch, and emergency switch.
  • Protection includes input fuses, thermal relays or circuit breakers, output fuse or circuit breakers, and thermal protection.
  • Environmental specifications include operating temperature from -10° to 45°C, storage temperature from -20 to 70°C, and humidity from 0 to 95% without condensation.
Options: Specific connectors, voltage & current adjustment potentiometers, transient overload current, status indicators, different IP levels, and communication board options like RS485.
Standards: CE certified and compliant with NFC15100, EN2282, GAM EG13, and MIL STD 1275 depending on the model.

ALM-ALT range – AC/DC-1

DC Power Supply - ALM - ALT Range The ALM-ALT DC power supply range is used in different types of applications to supply a stabilised and filtered DC current. It can be used to generate a 28Vdc on-board network for aerospace applications, for engine start up requirements, to carry out maintenance or to power test benches. In marine applications, this power supply range is used to create on-board emergency networks to power automats and communication equipment. This type of power supply is often used for rail applications in the maintenance work shop to supply the locomotives and carriages. Used to create stable low voltage local networks the ALM-ALT power supply range is widely used in the industrial sector. The power supply, based on thyristor technology, ensures the highest level of reliability and robustness. The cabinets and the electronic boards can be adapted to the environmental constraints of our customers.
