Remote access for troubleshooting assistance Spreader Model 8210E Vectrix is a electrical telescopic top lift spreader for handling of laden ISO containers up to 45 tonnes. 8210E Vectrix is designed for mounting on Automated Rail Mounted (ARMG), Rail Mounted (RMG), Automated Rubber Tyred (ARTG) or Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes. The strong and basic concept offers distinct advantages, such as two parallel telescopic beams, assuring max overlap. Beam sections are dimensioned to absorb not only the vertical, but also the very considerable horizontal forces. Electric spreader 8210E Vectrix is silent and power efficient. TWISTLOCK SYSTEM The twistlock system is manufactured in a very rugged design and is well proven since many years. 8210E Vectrix has hardened, penduling ISO quick exchange twistlocks. They are activated by one motor and gearbox and have mechanical interlocking against faulty locking and unlocking. VECTRIX Engineered with precision and combining years of experience with forward-thinking innovation, the Vectrix spreader series sets a new standard in performance. TELESCOPING SYSTEM Telescoping is powered by one electric motor, gearbox and chain which makes simultaneous telescoping of beams. Central to its performance is the idea of vector meets matrix − a balance of strength, durability, and smart mechanics. This synergy allows the Vectrix spreaders to be energy efficient and at the same time robust and trustworthy. With a modular design, the Vectrix spreader series offers a cost-effective customization by the possibility to easily adapt and replace individual components to meet specific operational needs, resulting in easier maintenance, reduced downtime, and an extended lifespan. CONTROL AND PROTECTION SYSTEM Control voltage on the spreader is always converted to 24V DC for safety and reliability. Electrical systems monitor the state of the spreader at all times. Indicator lights advise the operator when the spreader is correctly seated, locked or not locked. Each signal is a precondition for the important protection functions of the spreader, such as twistlock activation, telescoping and lift interrupt. DESIGN STANDARDS The spreader is designed in compliance with EN15056 and EN13001.
