There, in Chicago on Lake Michigan, 55 Elco electric boats carried over one million passengers. Today, Elco Motor Yachts still produces some of the finest and most beautiful boats, along with the most highly advanced electric drive systems. Indeed, Elco stands among the most significant companies in American boating history. Elco continues to make history in American yachting. Elco motors, boats, and yachts today are built to the highest standards – just as they were from the beginning. And just as it has always been, the Elco name today stands for quiet beauty and sound innovation.
