Product Catalogue | SECURITY CASE STUDY 2 Ensuring aircraft safety at the London City Airport. 250-meter-long DMS Booms were installed with great success at the London City Airport from 2003 to 2019 to keep aircraft movement safe. Located in the Royal Docks, London City Airport’s runway is 1,508 meters long and extends into the water. It can accommodate up to four aircraft, but only one plane can be queued up for takeoff. The others need to stay in a separate holding area until it is their turn.
