SOFT START DYNA SOFT START 5kW - 230V The new DYNA Softstart has been specially developed for applications in the mobile field. Thanks to the enclosed design, it can easily be mounted in any vehicle or yacht. The DYNA Softstart reduces the starting current of single-phase 230V electric motors up to approx. 60%. The two potentiometers can be used to set the ramp time and the preset. With the DYNA Softstart the maximum value is prescribed as starting current, which may not be exceeded throughout the entire start-up time of the electric motor. As current and torque are directly dependent on one another, the starting current may be set to a minimum.
