DIMENSION-POLYANT's internal taffeta (iT) was specially developed for sailors who want the race finish of a film/film laminate but demand the durability of taffeta. Fully encapsulated between two surfaces of film and adhesive DIMENSION-POLYANT's iT offers high tear strength, puncture resistance, added bias stability, and minimizes the possibility of wicking through special lamination techniques. Anti-microbial additives in the adhesive also reduces the risk of mildew growth. With external film surfaces iT offers the sailmaker the possibility of glued, no-sewn primary joiners and easier application of PSA backed or glued accessory items.
