A powerhouse for it’s size, it takes up very little space making it ideal for sailboats with little room to spare. It puts out a large amount of dry heat into the cabin keeping everyone warm and toasty and keeps everything dry inside the cabin. It has a nice viewing window that allows you to see the flame for a nice ambiance. For added heating heater can be equipped with a single turn water coil that can be used to move heat around the boat through our Radex heaters or used to heat a small hot water tank. The valve on the unit can be calibrated for use with Diesel, Kerosene or Stove Oil. The Alaska requires a 3” diameter chimney that needs to be at least 4ft tall and should not exceed 8ft. A straight run is ideal but if bends are needed do not exceed 45 degrees. A fresh air vent close to the base of the heater is required to ensure a constant supply of oxygen to the heater. When installed on a sailboat it needs to be installed in a fore to aft configuration for operation whi
