It has the highest capacity for dry heat as well as the largest cooking surface. With such a high capacity for dry heat, the Adriatic excels in extreme cold conditions and is perfect for sailing from the Pacific Northwest to the Bering straight and beyond. This unit will provide consistent and reliable heat throughout the most extreme conditions as well as helping to feed the crew. The Adriatic requires a 5” diameter chimney that needs to be at least 4” tall and should not exceed 8ft. A straight run is ideal but if bends are needed do not exceed 45 degrees. A fresh air vent close to the base of the stove is highly recommended to ensure a constant supply of oxygen to the heater.
