RO-BOOM 3200 is a heavy-duty oil containment boom designed for offshore oil spill response in harsh environments. It is recognized as the largest and most robust oil containment boom globally, holding a Guinness World Record for its size and effectiveness.

Performance and Testing
The RO-BOOM 3200 was extensively tested in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea over three years. It successfully contained 95 cubic meters of oil with a recovery rate of 95%. It also withstood long-term towing tests in Arctic conditions without major damage.

Design and Construction
The boom is constructed from a synthetic rubber compound with a CSM (Hypalon) external layer, providing high abrasion and peel resistance. It features individual air chambers for reliability, stainless steel fittings, and a hot galvanized ballast/tension chain.

Components
