DERECKTOR 41m High Speed Ferry Catamaran Hull - Low Wake-Wash Characteristics This passenger-only ferry designed by Nigel Gee Associates is built by Derecktor to the highest quality standards with USCG Subchapter K full compliance. It carries 300 passengers at a service speed of 36 knots. The wake-wash generated by this hull design is extremely low, even at high speeds. The main deck seats 171 passengers in airline quality seats and features a full service bar and four toilets aft. The upper deck has 129 seats with a central lounge area and a small bar. Exterior seating is also provided on the aft upper deck to allow passengers the option of open-air travel. This bow loading vessel has a large cargo storage area in the bow capable of holding up to 9,000 lbs. of luggage. This area can be fitted out with bicycle racks and wheeled carts for easy handling of all passenger luggage. Passenger comfort is assured by year round climatization on both decks.
