Vantage Pro2™ weather stations are available in both wireless and cabled versions. All Vantage Pro2 stations include the console with an AC-power adapter. Wireless consoles may also be operated with three C batteries. Both wireless and cabled models include the Integrated Sensor Suite and mounting hardware. The Integrated Sensor Suite provides a rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, and anemometer. Our rain collector measures rainfall amounts in 0.01" or 0.2 mm increments. Our temperature sensors have an accuracy of ±1°F (0.5°C). The outside humidity sensor’s accuracy is ±3%. The radiation shield provides considerable protection against radiated or reflected heat in real-life situations. To further limit fluctuations due to heat reflected from rooftops or pavement, fan-aspirated stations and kits are available. Temperature and Humidity Sensors are located inside the radiation shield to insulate the sensor from radiated or reflected heat. No solar power. • Wireless version includes transmitter (in weatherresistant shelter) and receiver (in console). Range is up to 1000' (300 m) outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 200' to 400' (60 to 120 m). Data may be received from more than one transmitter. Hardware for mounting on a pole or post is included (mounting pole is not). This optional kit includes two galvanized steel poles, connector, and mounting hardware. Assemble the poles together to make a single 37 1/ 2" (0.95 m) long pole. The optional tripod makes installation even easier. Brackets at the base of legs tilt to mount on roof or uneven terrain.
