Innovative ProcessThe OWE 5000 employs a patented process involving two-phase transitions: from oily water to vapor, then to distillate water. This method ensures fine separation of water from pollutants, using waste heat recovery from the main engine.
Stages of Treatment- Stage 1: Coalescing and Settling - Utilizes a coarse coalescing mat to settle easily catchable floating oil, minimizing clogging and performance drop.
- Stage 2: Phase Transition - Breaks down stable emulsions containing dissolved oil or contaminants by boiling the water out of the effluent at negative pressure, then condensing it into clear distillate water.
Additional Features- Primary settling tank for partial separation of heavy and light phase contaminants.
- Automatic detection and drainage of contaminants to a waste oil tank.
- Continuous monitoring with a 15ppm or 5ppm sensor and a three-way valve to divert improperly cleaned water.
