In this use polyurethane foam will not present a health hazard, however, other uses for which the sander was not recommended (i.e.: use at very high temperatures) may produce risks that have not been anticipated. Application Rules regarding the wearing of protective clothing should be followed at all times and in particular the requirements for the provision and use of suitable eye protection when using abrasive products should be observed. It is strongly recommended that suitable protection against the inhalation of dust particles from the sanding process must be worn. Sanding blocks or pads should not be modified in any way. They should be used only in their original size and shape as supplied. Handling and storage It is recommended that all sponge Abrasive products should be stored at constant levels of temperature and humidity within the ranges of 18 - 22 C. They should be kept away from damp (or cold) walls or floors to avoid possible moisture absorption. Equally storage adjacent to heat sources e.g. steam pipes, radiators, hot air ducts, ovens etc. should be avoided. Products should be retained in their original packing until immediately prior to use. Conditions to avoid Open flames, intense heat sources, temperatures in excess of 200°C.
